Parody, Religion, and Violence

How does the true believer handle a parody of his or her religion, holy books, and holy persons?

He or she might watch or read the parody for a good laugh. The true believer will understand that the parody will not hurt his or her belief or religion. The true believer never fears other ideas. The worst the true believer will do is feel sorrow and pity for the person responsible for the parody!

What happens when a person's religion and beliefs have been warped and twisted by satan? Satan is the great deceiver, he tries to deflect your belief — warp and twist it — with lies and half truths. Satan will cause you to focus on unimportant and irrelevant things (e.g. how many angels can dance on the head of a pin or how much time creation took). Satan will use these irrelevancies to deflect your attention for the really important.

So, what happens when a person's religion and beliefs have been warped and twisted by satan? Why, satan get angry, very angry. He pushes those he has confused — warped and twisted — to act with violence. He pushes his "followers" to hurt or kill the one who made fun of religion! Satan wants us to act evilly and violently. He wants us to SIN!!! Violence is a sin!

It is easy to tell those who have doubts and have given their lives over to satan; they react with violence, they kill, maim, and injure to protect themselves from other beliefs!

If you are uncomfortable when someone parodies your beliefs, sit back, relax, and reread your holy books. Fortify your belief from the source. If this doesn't calm and relax you then maybe you should look into other ideas.
