Truth or Dare

Do you know people who are against the teaching of certain subjects? Subjects such as evolution as opposed to creationism? These people will tell you that such teachings can warp and twist our youth. They will tell you that such teachings will lead our children astray.

Truth, however, fears no teaching. Truth will always shine forth. One of the easiest ways to detect that a belief system is wrong is when they ban or bar the teaching of other systems.

Many wish to ban the teaching of evolution. They want nothing to compete with a literal interpretation of Biblical creation as told in Genesis. This desire, in of itself, is proof positive that those who want the ban do not truly believe in creation.

Truth shines through all. Truth does not fear alternate ideas. Truth, in fact, welcomes alternatives, for ultimately those alternatives will prove false in the great light of truth.

Satan whispers lies into your ear all the time. He tries hard to keep you from learning the truth. He tells you that competing ideas should be banned. He tells you that competing ideas can lead you astray, lead you away from the truth. Never believe it, competing ideas can never lead you away from the truth. The truth will always dispel the fog of doubt and lies. Only by supressing the truth can satan hope to get you to believe in his lies.

John 8:31-32

Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;

and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 3:19-021

And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved.

But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, that they have been wrought in God.

Never fear alternative ideas, they are an important source of learning. Always fear the man or woman who would deny you alternate ideas, they do not have your best interest in mind.
